the selection and building of systems and compatible upgrades from IBM’s Express
Seller range.
Unlike other tools, IBM's Pre-Sales Advisor only allows the selection of upgrades
that will fit into each system.

The tool provides extensive channel stock and pricing information, provided by daily
electronic feeds from Tier 1 distributors. It enables users to:
- Review up to date pricing and stock availability with the channel summary feature.
- Build a system, storage solution or BladeCenter S then fully customise it with our
range of tools.
- Discover whether the demand generated by a quotation or sales order can be met by
the channel.
In addition, Pre-Sales Advisor allows users to save their builds for reference or
later use, and to export them in XML format for use in other applications, or as
an email attachment.
Plus, there is no requirement to declare customers’ details to IBM. Unlike HP, IBM
have no direct model.
